Long story short, when it comes to providing for loved ones, Pinoys are down for whatever. Pinoys are the nicest most generous people you can meet but mess with their family forget it.

I feel ya on this, and it's absolutely true. As a Thai/Laos person, I watch a lot of Thai news and boxing(muay thai included) over FTA sattelite, and Thai promoters are often criticized by the newscasters in regards to picking up the worst of the worst Philipino boxers to water down the records of thier prospects. It's a shame.

I'm not trying to say that Thai boxers don't deserve any credit, cuz there's been many boxers from there that have beaten very good contenders inside and outside of Thailand.

Thais are pretty weak right now in boxing. I'd put them 3rd in east Asia, behind Philippines and Japan. Some central Asian countries might be in the mix ahead of the Thais too, but I'm too lazy to look at all those former Soviet republics.

You right, he have no bussiness with PAC untill he beat at least two from the guys you mention.
However if he beat them then I think PAC will personaly knock to his door.

pac does not need a fight with de leon. he has mab, jmm, guzman, soto and valero in his to do list. junior lightweight has enough names to keep pac busy until he's retired.

If PAC fight once per year then sure, but I think Leon needs one or two years to go to the proper level.
PAC will not retire in the next two years yet.

I'm not sure but I guess Filipinos are masters in using the weapons of all kind (FFA/FMA).
