Pins and needles/general lack of blood in my hands when using the heavy bag?

A few years back when I went to boxing I'd get this after about 5 minutes on the pads or the bag. I've recently hung a bag up in my back garden and I get the same tingly feeling, but this time it only takes about 30 seconds.

I'm a lot less fit and my gloves are about eleven sizes too big, so I'm hoping it's something to do with one of those. Anyone else had it? Any ideas what it is?

    Cheers in advance.

Could you be wrapping your hands or lacing/strapping your gloves too tightly?

I don't wrap my hands and the gloves are miles too loose, so it's definitely not that.

No. It's not worth it, it'd take me longer to wrap my hands than it would for me to get knackered hitting my punch bag.

Either your bag is filled with feathers, you punch like a little girl or your hands are constantly damaged

Could be you just go too fast. I get a tingly feeling in my shoulders if I go all out for a long time.

    And definitely wrap your hands.

I used to get this when I wrapped my hands too tightly and once when my hands were so cold some fingers went numb and stayed that way all session.

Get some decent gloves with plenty of padding, no cheap arse lonsdale gloves.
