He accomplished a lot 6 yrs 8 months as Champion and 15 defenses at WW.
But elite to me is Sugar Ray Leonard or Thomas Hearns , Henry Armstrong.

Do you feel that anyone that isn't "elite" can't contend with or beat said fighters? Is everyone else just circumspect or what?

I think Tito would wreck him. Aggressive fighters were Tito’s bread and butter. Hard to come into Tito’s wheelhouse and better him.

Felix Tito Trinidad wins this one by a TKO 10. Pipino Cuevas though a very hard puncher would be fighting a very talented boxer puncher in Tito, who would not stand and trade with Cuevas. Felix would keep Pipino at the end of his left jab, firing combinations in the center of the ring, not allowing Cuevas to get close. After such a display of boxing skill, Tito catches an exhausted Pipino with a very jarring right hand that staggers Cuevas and lands him in a neutral corner, the referee stops the contest. Tito is not Miguel Angel Campanino or Billy Backus.

Tito turns him into a Cucumber, true meaning, his last name is a Cave in Spanish.

A Pipino is a Cucumber in Spanish, a Pina is a Pineapple.
