Pipino Cuevas vs. Gaspar Ortega

Ortega for all his greatness (HOF fighter) is hittable. I might go so far as to say very hittable Noted for his guts and brawling style defense might be his weakest attribute.
What Cuevas can hit - he kills. Cuevas in the mid to late rounds...

 

Interesting..I'd like to hear more

 

Ortega would outfight and outhustle so many guys through history. The ones I think he doesn't get by are the ones with the really huge equalizing power to offset that workrate and energy and savvy.


And then I think about the Fernandez fights and how he stood up to those bombs so now I don't know all over again.
