2 Brawlers - go with the faster 1 with a great chin, Mosley loves to fight brawlers where he can land his big hayemakers/combinations at ease - Margarito, Mayorga, Vargas.

    Mosley wins by KO

I go for Molsey as well, the prime 147 version. He can hit his man almost as much as possible. I agree Mosley has a very good/great chin but it's not as proven as what people like to make out. Cuevas could hurt him, but he might just lack the overall quality to win, he definitely has a puncher's chance to say the least. I wouldn't bet on either man money wise but i go for Mosley on here.

Cuevas was too good to compare to those 3. Cuevas had 10 title defenses. I think Mosley and Cuevas would fight a very close fight and it would be a decision either way.

I'd say that was around Cuevas's level, maybe a bit better, he hit harder for sure, but his defense was poor and his hands slow, people get blinded by his power, which is great, his 10defenses were against pretty poor comp, Margarito has 10 world title fights himself and had as much legitimacy as world champ given Cuevas was never linear

Mosley by brutal KO. You have to be not only be physically strong to beat Mosley, you have to be a great boxer as well. Forrest, Wright, Mayweather (when he was almost 40). Cotto has a very close win over Mosley (Cotto is a more complete fighter than Cuevas). The rematches with Forrest and Wright were close.

I think Mosley beats Cuevas pretty easily.

Cuevas was good. 10 defenses underrated speed. He lost to Hearns and was demolished and that hurts a champions legacy, especially since he was beaten as a champion. But he was beaten by Hearns. If you think Mosley could do what Hearns did to him then that is fine. If Cotto could win a decision against Mosley than Cuevas could. Cuevas would not have lost to Margarito like Cotto did.

Cuevas vs Mayorga is the fight i'd like to see. Or a Cuevas vs Mayorga vs Margarito round robin. YEAH!

Mosley is a level above though

I think Cotto would more than likely win a very comfortable decision outboxing Cuevas

yeah I guess it is easy to say it here, but Cuevas was not a light punching guy. He would welcome Cotto's style and willingness to punch.

Once Mosely comes inside it is over with.

    Leonard wouldn't fight prime Cuevas.

    Cuevas by TKO in 6.

I think Mosley's fast hands would serve him well here. I think he would trouble Cuevas immensely through the early part of the bout, as he was a good puncher himself. But once again, Pipino has the power. Shane would be landing, but gradually slowing the more times Cuevas connects. And those blows will take their toll. Shane might last the distance, but end up on the wrong end of a UD.
