Cuevas big on every one outside of F.Mayweather jr. I don't know fight fans, I see guys today who don't hold their hands properly, not using feints, missing counter punch opportunities that can even be seen on tv.Guys today are not well schooled. And the few that are, we really can't get a good feel how good they are because their competition is so bad. (Mayweather jr.).The generation that watched boxing from the 70's to the mid 90's (I'm one) I'd say were the last too see truly great fighters. And it doesn't look like it will get better. Just look at our amateurs.

He'd do fine, beating most of them but maybe losing once or twice. That's if he didn't fight Spence. Spence would beat him to a pulp.

Brook, Spence, Pacquaio, Vargas, and to an extent Garcia are well schooled. Bradley, Porter, Thurman, and Khan have their flaws, especially Khan, but all are experienced pros with good am backgrounds who generally know what they're doing in there (other than Khan's inability to block an overhand right). I can't say I agree.

In Cuevas' day, they would be called sparring partners.

Other than Pac I disagree with you (And Pac wouldn't be ranked at welter) I see no one on that list that would be in the top 5. Much less a world champion. Especially when we had just the WBA,WBC,and the IBF. They may have won some state or city championship.

Sure they would. And Cuevas' welterweight opponents would all be champions today, right?

You think Pacquiao is better schooled than the other guys he listed?

Who's Spence, and who has he beaten, i.e., how has he distinguished himself?

I'd back Cuevas to win against most of them.
