Hmm it's hard to call but I'd pick Pirog on a KO. Both have nice power and speed, but Pirog has better D than Proksa, and that's why I say Pirog.
Proksa has better D and a more attacking arsenal. Pirogs advantages are him having more power, and prolly stamina. Proksa's stamina is still unknown so thats up for grabs. On neutral territory, im taking Grzegorz by comfortable UD.
i know but it's so hard top say... the english language is full of words with SK but not many with KS..... it just doesn't sound right.
Need to see Proksa in some more fights at this level. I think Pirog would walk him into something lethal.
Proksa has been doing everything he's accomplished all on foreign ground. Nothing bothers this guy. I think thats a big thing to think about when looking at his record.
Firstly, I'd like to say I approve of this thread. It's interesting and refreshing. Secondly, although I admittedly underrated Proksa, I do think he's being a bit overrated right now. He looked fantastic against Sylvester, but if you watch some of his fights before that there are a lot of flaws in his game. Another thing that should be noted is his small stature for a middleweight. Navascues put up a much better performance than Sylvester did. He showed Proksa's style doesn't make him this untouchable RJJ clone. But Proksa is young and obviously improving too. So if you put a gun to my head now, I'd go for Pirog. Mainly because I think they are on a similar skill level but Pirog is physically superior. I look forward to Proksa's development and I must say, I am a fan. I thought he wouldn't make it past Euro level and he's proved me wrong so far.
