Ahhh, so Pirog suffered a back injury. . . Nevermind. . . Perfectly excusable. . Don't expect to fight in less than 8 weeks with a back injury. . . ESPECIALLY against a guy like Golovkin. You can't risk either cutting your training camp in half, or trying to train with a back injury for a guy like Golovkin.
Dzinziruk retired a few months back. Not that guys don't come out of retirement all the time for the right price...
People calling him a *****, really? This isn't the first time in Pirog's career he's post-poned a fight with a back injury. Bscene says he did it while swinging a sledge hammer on a tire. Personally I'm glad, A fight between these two deserves more build up. Peter Quillin could pull out of his fight with Rubio or the great Erislandy Lara could step in and earn some greatness. I don't want to see Macklin or Barker or Murray. I think they would hold up to GGG like toilet paper to a power washer. I also pray it's not Jermain Taylor, for Taylor's sake.
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,..... no, no, no, no, no, no, this fight would of been hot. GGG getting knocked out was something i was looking forward to. shame. hope it still happens down the road. if pirog is injured, then he's injured. nothing more you can do. something you love can hurt you in so many ways. being a boxing fan can be real shitty sometimes. everything keeps turning to **** these days.
No, he's supposed to fight an unbeaten Puerto Rican next month but his opponent is a 154 pounder.:think
I Think Gcubed would have beat Pirog, Pirog made his name beating a guy with cancer and has not done anything since. This was one of the fights that I really REALLY wanted see . . . this and Wlad23 mom and dad. I hear those Russian weightlifting chicks are f'n tough
