    Yeah tell me about it.:patsch

I've had many arguments with friends and family about Assad being the lesser of two evils and that Syria would be worse off without him and that the US should support him, and that the pro democracy protesters would eventually turn into Islamic Fundamentalists. As usual I was right.:D

Just like I was when I defended Saddam Hussein back in the early 2000's. He wasn't a nice guy by any means but I knew he'd be better than what followed.

I have family members who worked with assad when he was in London and we're friendly with him and said his a really nice guy. I think his in the unfortune situation of having to be in control of a cointry full of lunatics

America gave tons of funding to these 'rebel' groups who straight after receiving there weapons kept defecting to isis, obviously a scheme. Them middle eastern countries actually need strong leadership to keep the radicals under warps. Remove them and you create a power vacuum where complete luna tics gain control . I really don't know why david camaron and Obama aren't be lambasted when there governments have directly funded isis to support there agenda of getting rid of assad for what ever reason they don't like him. It shows how blind the media really is

Agree with everything you just said.:good It's nauseating to me at times. They don't like him because he friends with Russia and is supposedly Socialist and he doesn't like Israel and has ties to Iran, yet Iran has funded to my knowledge 0 terrorist attacks against the US (but they have supported Hezbollah who leave us alone) in recent memory and Saudi Arabia the US and UK's best buddy does nothing but.

Imo Vladimir Putin should be called the leader of the free world becuase his the only world leader who has a backbone and seems to make his own decisions. Obama and Cameron are spineless spin doctors ,looking out for there own interests while trying to make it look like their saving the world

Ya was full sure the usa were going to duck up Iran a few years ago when they started talking about them having weapons lol the usa and the uk back ****ing turkey who shot down Russian planes bombing terrorists and who but oil from terrorists ffs. Someone should really let americans and the British know what's really going on

They know exactly what's going on, which makes it even more disheartening. Playing a jockeying for position international chess game with Putin means more to them than keeping our countries safe from terrorists. The idea that Obama supported Turkey shooting down the Russian jet sickened me.

And don't get me started on Saudi Arabia. Wahabism is the worst most oppressive religion there is and is basically where all these terrorists groups come from. They also have a terrible human rights record. And have an oppressive regime. However the usa and uk will never have an issue with them becuase they supply them with oil. They also had no problem with megabe in Africa

Foreign policy for uk and usa goes like this

Evil regime but is on our side - no problem

Good regime but not with us - war is on and we will tar them as evil in the media

Evil regime but have nothing to offer us eg Zimbabwe - who cares lmfao

Somehow we see Assad as evil yet he by and large helps his people, yet we don't give even the slightest of f***s about the people living under a piece of s*** like Mugabe.:patsch

Putin is putting both of them to shame with his strong leadership and actually fighting terrorism .

I know and how come Russia get all these international sanctions from the university but turkey and anyone else won't? The Un and the whole lot are corrupt

Assad isn't Hussein. If he was, they wouldn't have tried to frame him for those gassings. We now know after the fact that it wasn't government forces, but the Western backed opposition/terrorists who used the gas on civilians. Take out Assad, and that country goes to ****, just like Iraq, just like Libya, and forever ruined for the people who have to live there. Somebody is benefitting from all that cheap black market oil AQ, and IS is selling from LIbya, Iraq, and Syria, and making each area a haven for extremists, means the money machine of the Military Industrial Complex will keep chugging along.

I know all about the CIA and their coup d'état's they've carried out for the last 60 years. It amazes me they don't bring up Chocolatito waving the flag of the Sandinistas when he comes to the ring on the US and UK broadcasts.

They did the same thing with Gadaffi. Libya had the highest GDP, and standard of living on the African continent. An even higher standard of living than Russia, Brazil, and half of Europe. He provided for his people, free education abroad, free land, irrigated the dessert, free housing etc. What do those people have now? Nothing but militant extremists, and all Gaddafi's gold has been stolen by the NATO countries, who claimed they took Gaddafi out for the people of Libya. Seems like that gold should have stayed for the people of Libya.

:good No Assad is much better than Hussein I think he's one of the most rational leaders in that part of the world, the Western Media have slandered the hell out of him and its sickens me.

:good Libya is a hellhole compared to what it once was.

"Free" is a four letter word, you're paying for your "free" NHS with massively high taxes.

My daughter has had one child in London and will have a second in January. After viewing what she described as "Victorian era" NHS facilities I agreed to pay for the C sections at a private hospital....
