Gonna be in Liverpool for Frank Warren Dec 11 bill, so will get to see that and Wlad-Chisora obviously, only thing left is Khan-Maidana (and Ortiz-Peterson... and Vic Darchinyan but there's no chance anyone will show that so...). Anyone know of any places in Liverpool where they'll show it?
And any other tips on where to go in the meantime would be appreciated like good bars with plenty of easy skanks etc...

If you are having the full day in Liverpool try a few drinks in Concert Square in the afternoon, get down the docks for the fight early evening and then Matthews Street for the night.

Thats not a very "alternative" intinerary for a day out in Liverpool but you won't go far wrong with it either.

(Can't help you with anywhere specific to watch the Khan fight though. sorry

    Cheers Gaz :good

I'll be arriving in Liverpool at about 3pm, that's when hotel check in is, so I'll have a shower then go straight to the arena. I had to book a minimum of 2 nights though so I'm there all day Sunday.

You heard of the Cocoon hotel Gaz? It sounds like a ****ing dive  Looks like one too, I google mapped it and it looks ****. It's right near the arena though and apparently in the city centre so for the location it'll do.

Ive heard of the International Cocoon, its literally outside my work. it is in the Student district lots of cheap bars before the boxing and Liverpool are playing Newcastle. Font pub which is very close do £1.50 red stripe bottles and £2-£5 cocktails if ya into that sort of thing and its not to far away from the Echo Arena

Yeah that's the one. How's the parking round there like? Any secure ones nearby where the wheels won't get stolen?
