I wonder if Paul would bend over at the waist and try and throw those long jabs at the chest that he likes to do against shorter guys?

I don't know. According to what Paul said in a front page article Sergio was training for him all along expecting Pavlik to not be ready to go and actually had an advantage there. True story. I'm not smart enough to make **** like this up.

I don't see it happening. Kelly had better win. I'd miss Hermit and Booradley otherwise.

williams is anomaly, really. he's very, very tall for his weight. he has a huge wingspan and reach and he's a gifted athlete. yet he gets hit so damn much and has a very hard time staying in control and on balance.

with his athleticism, to go along with all his other attributes, he should rarely get hit, should be able to keep all these smaller opponents he's faced on the recieving end of a long jab and should be laying people the **** out.

That is a good question. Sergio did take the fight on short notice, but he wasn't sitting around doing nothing at the time. He was always "the go to guy" in case Pavlik/Williams fell apart. He was ready to fight either one. So, it's kind of tough to really say how much difference a full camp will make.

Martinez showed he was truely world class in that fight.

But if Pwill had Pavlik's power Martinez wouldn't of made it to the final bell.

pavliks power will make martinez more cagey and carefull cutting down on his punch output.

pavlik will have to get his jab working in order to time his right hand , but i beleive pavlik being a big middle and martinez a small middle will play a part as the fight goes on.

i hope kelly wins by ko or clear descion.

I see this going a similar route to the berto/quintana fight with pavlik desperate to convince and impress therefore looking sloppy but ultimately stopping Martinez a little later around round 10

Martinez will have the speed advantage and if he uses that right than he'll take this fight 8-4 or 7-5...

    No.

Dont count on the same Kelly Pavlik to come into the ring on the 17th that fought B-Hop.
