GBP is not well-run. Sure, they have bought out the majority of promoters, but that doesn't mean they know how to promote.

This fight would've sold a lot more tickets if it were staged at MSG or better yet, Atlantic City. Hopkins is from Philly and it's an easy ride over there.

You would think that Golden Boy would've learned from comparing the success of the Tarver fight at AC with the failure of the Wright fight in Vegas that the East Coast would've been the most logical spot.

But of course, Oscar and Co. made a dumbass decision and thought that Vegas offered the most $$$.

GBP is HURTING the sport, not cleaning it up. Anyone who disagrees better have a good reason.

I don't know about you guys, but Im hoping that there are still tons of cheap seats available come fight time. Scalpers are in for a huge surprise if the so called report is true.

F it..I'm going to this fight and the price will be cheap.

Just like the crowd at Pavlik - Taylor II.

Boxing events only sell out in the US if it is a celebrity get together like that mismatch last May.

Man you're a weirdo. Of course a "real boxing fan" knows who Calzaghe is. I asked a few of them that are just casual fans of the sport and I was surprised they had never heard of him. What's the big deal?

Planet Hollywood is a sh*t company to begin with. Their food sucks. I see that place declaring bankruptcy in a saturated market.
