Plans for Barker this summer.....

I'd love to see Matchroom make this fight and have it in Dublin. How about:

Lee v Barker
Fitzgerald v Spike Sullivan
Stephen Ormond v Martin Lindsay
Willie Casey v Jazza Dickens
Scott Cardle v Jamie Kavanagh (Celtic Title)

 

When would they plan this for though? June and early July is already full and they are already struggling date wise. Also no way they go to Ireland and Frampton not even on the card. The whole point of Barker taking a fight is to stay busy until they can get the title shot. If they can't make it in June or July it's pointless doing it

 

For the time being....Just wait ti see what happens if the Froch PPV does good numbers

 

The fight has been annonced as regular Sky.

 

If Frampton is on the card, he would headline it in Belfast, and it would be too costly to make Barker-Lee on that card as well. If we are talking Barker-Lee, then it would either have to be in London or Dublin. It would be good for Matchroom to put on a big show in Dublin, with the right fights and prices I think they could fill the 02.
