i am a fighter myself allthough only an amateur but all im asking is wat is a fighter who's earning 2.3 million for the fight doing using old pre soaked pads ? it makes no sense and the csac must hav some serious evidence against him otherwise why would they hav allready suspended him ?
I don't know why he would use old knuckle pads, and that is why I'm not going to say he is innocent or guilty, untill I see the results. Why old pads, why do many athletes use their old shoes, old caps, old helmets, old trunks...I don't know. Why did they already suspend him?? I don't know, and that is why I refuse to jump to any conclusion without any hard evidence. What I do know is that the CSAC is a farce, and they were the ones who approved one of his wraps. So you tell me, how competent is the CSAC?
Since you guys seem to be looking for a conspiracy theory anyhow, here's one for you to suck on. How much money do you think passed hands to guarantee we never hear what was on or in those gloves? If you guessed a sizable percentage of Margo's future purses, you are correct. But all of this is childish. If the wraps had been legal, Capetillo wouldn't have had to rewrap, and they wouldn't have been confiscated. The extra gauze, plaster or no, would have become compacted as it got wetter over the course of the fight, giving Margarito an unfair, and obviously dangerous advantage. This is seriously the last one of these threads I even open.
Of course, the UNCONTESTED one-year suspension was handed down for no reason whatsoever. Just a bunch of haters, man. The only puzzling component to this whole fiasco is why Capitello would admit he made a "mistake" if everything is perfectly status quo? :huh I don't hate Margarito nearly as much as I despise his oxygen-deprived, hopelessly ******ed ****ing fans.
The difference between me and you is that I know about boxing, you know about Pacquiao, I have many favorite fighters in almost every division, you only like pacquiao. When Pac retires, you're done with boxing. When Margarito retires it won't matter to me since I was a fan of the sport long before Tony, and will be long after Tony. :hi:
