LMW isn't really that weak. Charlo, J Rock, Trout, Lara, Andrade, how is that weak? J rock and Trout would EASILY beat Smith, but they'll never get a shot at him.

 

J rock? Lara needs to fight more,Andrade doesn't fight, and trout needs to fight better comp. All in all its a weak division with little competition. Charlo's aren't grrat either imo, 154 and 135 are imo maybe the two weakest divisions in boxing

 

Julian Williams. The top guys at 154 are far better than the top guys at 160 if you dont count Canelo/Cotto. Canelo and Cotto are not MWs, and Cotto would get schooled by everyone I mentioned, he alreayd did get schooled by Trout too. The Charlo's are far better than Lemieux, Murray, Saunders etc. MW only has GGG and the rest are extremely mediocre, 154 doesn't have a GGG, but it has 2 charlos, trout, lara, jrock, andrade, which is 6 extremely solid guys.

 

If they were they would move up since a lot drain a ton of weight to make 154 eg Andrade. When they move up we will see. For all this talk of middleweight being weak no 154 fighter wants to step up. It doesn't make any sense

 

Vanes is also far better than any MW not named GGG. Forgot about that guy. 160 is such a **** division. Watch Trout vs Cotto and Cotto vs Geale and you'll see the difference between a top 5 lmw vs cotto against a top 3 mw vs cotto.

Andrade just weighed in at 153 1/2, and you think he's struggling to make weight .

I don't rate them that high. They're just far better than any MW not named GGG. I'd give them a decent shot against Canelo too, they'd both beat Cotto. Unless Cotto beats Canelo which definitely will not happen imo.

You mean zombie geale who already was struggling to make 160 that cotto brought down to 157. I don't count that fight as anything other than 2 guys getting paid

If he's struggling to make weight why is he weighing 1/2 pound lighter than the weight he has to make . Yes he's a big LMW, but he still makes the weight comfortably clearly.

 

zombie geale that weighed in at 182 , Geale said himself in an interview after the fight that he was still in a capable condition. I love how the GGG lunatics think that Geale was some zombie and that the 3 pounds made even an ounce of difference. If you understood boxing you would be able to see the skill difference betwen Cotto and Geale.

We will see but he rarely fights . Everytime his fighting someone he dwarfs them

 

He rehydrated 25 pounds . That will tell you just how drained he was. He doesn't usually weigh in that high but because he was so drained he was retaining huge amounts of water.

I'm not a ggg fanatic but if you don't consider geale drained for that fight then I don't think yiu can say any fighter ever has been drained going into a fight

 

And btw Crawford beats 99% of the WWs, saying that he should just move up if that's the case is just moronic though. The 154 pounders obviously feel more comfortable at that weight, why would they go up to a weak weight class with ONE big payday that would most likely beat them all besides Andrade.

 

Geale was not drained at all, if that's the case, Canelo is drained in damn near every fight, doesn't the guy rehydrate like 20+ pounds every fight? Like I said, if you couldn't tell the difference in skill level, you don't know what you're watching.
