What THREE (3) minor, specific tweaks would you make to guide Razor to a world title at any point during his active years? You can focus on any one of his historical contention attempts, or develop a career path to a fantasy fight (but you must be extremely specific in how he gets there and what he does when he arrives); you can play with the mechanics or strategy of his fight game, or any of your choice of intangibles (but in the latter case please take care to provide actual, specific detail and whether it would be a change that he could self-initiate, would require external assistance, or is just a magic wave of the wand on your part). Other than being restricted to three tweaks (and each must be a specific, single change) you have full omnipotence and creative control. Go.
Give him an overhand right (it would go well with is left and he already had a decent uppercut); give him better stamina; give him the ability to hold on when hurt. All of them could be gained through training.
In what fight (can be one that did historically happen, or one that could have during his active years) do you see him able to obtain a world title with these adjustments?
I think, even without the adjustments, he'd have had a shot against Michael Moorer in 1994 and Tony Tucker (let's say Ruddock replaces an injured Lewis) in 1993. With the adjustments, I'd give him a good shot against Buster Douglas in 1990, Mike Tyson in Tokyo in 1990 and a very outside shot against Holyfield in 1991-1992. I think, even with the adjustments, Lewis and a focused Tyson would be too much.
