It's for the WBO European it says on Boxrec. I'm sure earlier on in the day it said WBO as in the world title though. Think they changed it then.

 

Brook and Khan is a strange one because Khan showed massive balls going up 2 weights for Canelo but people are saying he's scared of Brook's power. I suppose if he is scared it's because he has something to lose v Brook whereas no matter what happened with Canelo he would not lose any face because nothing was expected because of the weight etc.

May well be about money as speculated.

 

think 65-35/60-40 is nearer the mark. The IBF belt more than likely wouldn't be on the line. Khan has a much bigger profile in US & Probs a tad bigger in Brittain. If IBF was on the line then 50/50 purse would be fair!

End of the day Brook wants the fight that bad he should accept. If he really thinks he will KO Khan he should take it would be a massive event and would put him up there for more PPV & Stadium fights VS Garcia/Thurman/Porter (rematch). Even if he moved up to LMW he could get buys on PPV off the back of that event.

IMO both just being greedy should find away to make this happen after banging on about it for year after year

 

Good post but disagree about both being greedy. Khan has played silly games for a while now. Brook has jumped through the hoops that Khan has stipulated and now he's telling a world champion that he should be grateful for a 70/30 split. We all have our pride and self respect, there's a point when we all say enough is enough you're just taking the p**s now.

He doesn't want the fight. He just wants to humiliate and belittle him.

Eddie Hearn is all about the dosh and there's a lot of money in it for him too, but even he knows they're just taking the p**s.

 

That's what Hearn has hinted at. He mentioned that Brook may want 50/50 but sometimes you need to give to get a fight done. The problem is Khan isn't being realistic with a 70/30 offer. Brook should be taking 60/40 at worst. Really 55/45 if it got the fight done but 70/30 is straight up humiliating and its a demand Khan knows Brook would never accept which is what he wants as he doesn't want the fight.

Khan was hoping by now Brook had lost vs a WW so he would have leverage. It's why Khan wouldn't mind seeing Brook fight Spence first for instance as for him Brook losing is the best thing possible as then he either doesn't need to fight him or he can fight him all on his terms.

 

Think Khan would budge but hed need an offer to made. If i wanted 60%-65% id ask for 70% as he knows they will try and get 50/50 split.

the fight will happen IMO and it will be 60/40 Khan as the IBF will be vacated by Brook
