I'm a fan of Hopkins and Pavlik, but as a Philly resident, I have to always support Bernard.

The only time I've felt pride in being in Philly Sports was the day I watched Bernard Hopkins own Antonio Tarver for every minute of every round for the LHW title.

Obviously Pavlik should be a favorite here but I'm counting on Pavlik's inexperience against anyone remotely cagey to be his undoing tomorrow night.

Comon, Bernard! One more time, against the odds!

I'm with you. I really like Pavlik, but I'm looking for one more flash of brilliance from Hopkins.

I was hoping for the magic moment against Calzaggy!

Then i was happy he stated his retirement in which that was short lived, this fight should close his chapture for good!

    Hopkins had his time ..

The Calzaghe experience was beneficial to Hopkins. I don't think many people are seeing that.

The sad part about B-Hop is that nobody wanted any part of him when he was in his prime, untill he was 36 years old. Now when he's 40+ he needs to take on young guys that couldn't win a round against him in his prime because he didn't get the paydays he deserved back in his hey day.

I like Pavlik a lot, seems like a real down to earth guy. Not a loud-mouth. Meanwhile, Bernard often comes across as a jerk. Like if you ever tried to talk to him, he'd be rude and obnoxious. So why am I rooting for Hopkins? lol.

Don't take that against Bhops . . . he is getting out of his way to sell his fights. He is trying very hard to stir a controversy in his last few fights. :yep :good

Bhop is a far better fighter than Pavlik. Bhop just might win.

I would love this too, and the only time I can remember rooting for B-Hop was against Tarver. I don't even really have anything against Pavlik, but he is far too overrated and needs a good reality check. Plus B-Hop doesn't seem like such a bad person himself outside of the ring and promotions.

Not sure. He clearly had Taylor hurt in the first fight. Pavlik is all hype. HBO nuthugging.
