Pac didn't fight a strong Cotto-made him weak and then fought em-Pacroid couldn't handle a strong Cotto-even Pacroid wouldn't move up in weight-Pacroid is not very good at boxing. His defense is amongst the worst of the top fighters.

 

Cotto came in at 146 at the fight previous to the Pacquiao fight.
So even if he was allowed 147, he made 146 easy. But then he was "drained" at 145.

If he wanted a second Pac fight, it should have been at 147. Just because he got into comfort food after the beating Manny put on him doesn't mean Manny should accept a higher weight.
It's like Froch putting on muscle to get to cruiserweight and then calling out Arthur Abraham. Abraham wasn't even competitive when he went up 1 weight class. Being shorter, ho obviously won't be able to go up as high as Froch as easily.

 

All the weigh draining Cotto had to do his soul was all he had in him.
