I second this opinion and am proud to have snuck in and be part of this thread (TOTY) before it gets pulled. PS - for contentious threads like this one, it’s always a good idea to include a poll - I think my earlier comments above have made it clear as to which way I’m voting.
The family curse is what everyone called it and it was once for a long time underground. The idea they made a movie about it is pretty cool but it takes away the ammo i once had in a random debate in a pub about pro wrestling with someone who knew nothing about it. I went through years of reality with the Von Erich' s watching everything materialize in real time but now I have the same knowledge of anyone who watched the movie? B.S!
They remind me a bit of the Wyndhams, albeit with more tragedy. Interestingly Dory Funk's son is a physician.
