Please don't let Paul Malignaggi fight Manny Pacquiao!

I'm sick of the Pac vs. PBF threads as well but I just wanted to say that if "the fight" doesn't happen... please pick somebody more dangerous than Malignaggi.

Malignaggi is a decent fighter but he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell against Pacquiao.

Malignaggi is 27-3 with only 5 wins by Knockout. He was outpointed by Cotto in a fight where he took a lot of damage, but he showed plenty of toughness. He was stopped in 11 by Hatton in a fight he was well behind in. He gave Juan Diaz trouble and earned a rematch (many felt he deserved the win). He got the nod vs. Diaz in the rematch.

He also has wins over L. N'Dou x2 and H. Ngoudjo. He is 3-1 (0) in World Title fights at 140Lbs.

The only people on Pac's radar should by Mayweather or the winner of Mosley vs. Berto. Mosley and Berto are busy with each other, Mayweather may not be made for whatever reason... the only other choice in my opinion is Clottey. If Clottey can't be made than I guess Malignaggi is the choice but I really don't care about this fight. I'd rather see Pac vs. Margarito than Malignaggi.

My only thought with Paulie is that hes the one fighter who isnt going to go right after PacMan. Hes going to jab and move all night - he would probably last longer than Hatton. I think it would be an interesting fight

Bradley is a little bit better, maybe a lot better (time will tell)? He has about the same chance as Malignaggi in my opinion. Only 11 KOs in 26 fights. I think you need good power, skill, and stamina to beat Pac. Bradley has 2 out of 3 but I doubt it's enough.

Hell, Let's ask PW to come down to 147 and fight Pac! I know that he is busy with Martinez in a possible rematch but this should be a great fight to pounder.

Williams would be a tough fight. If I was Williams I'd do it. If the fight with Mayweather falls thru, the Pac sweepstakes will start... people will come out of the woodowrk for a chance at a big payday vs. Pacquiao.

I hope something gets worked out soon.
