John "Huggy Bear" Ruiz. The man that averaged a clinch every 4 seconds not too long ago. I don't see Huggy Bear knocking out anyone, but after the Haye resume thread, and hearing about Haye's knockdowns and such, I am calling this one a toss up. May the best man win!

Haye's chin is questionable, without a doubt. But Ruiz doesn't have the firepower to take advantage of this. Ruiz has never knocked out a top level fighter, and hasn't scored a clean KO in over ten years, even over a journeyman.

This fight is gonna be a walk in the park for Haye.

This talk about Ruiz being a hugger and all that is way too overrated, really, it's overrated beyond reason at this point and all newbies that don't know who Ruiz is and haven't seen a single fight of his jump on the bandwagon because somehow it looks cool to act like clowns.

In his fights with Valuev Ruiz was the one encouraging exchanges, he was the one to open up and throw in combinations almost all the time and Valuev was the one grabbing. Even in his fight with both Toney and Jones there was no grabbing not only because the referee didn't allow it but he obviously tried to fight on the outside to satisfy idiots that don't know **** about leg movement even if you poked both their eyes in blind trying to explain to them. I don't think he grabbed much against McCline either and he won't grab in his next fight. You can't compare past grabbing sessions with the fiasco that goes in England in favor of their fighters, it's a circus over there, there's absolutely NOTHING professional going on there and the referee is an overweight bartender.

Remember, Haye has his venue, his referee, his judges, his commentators and big money fight promised by Vitali, although Haye will chicken out once again.

Ruiz managed to keep it competetive against Chagaev and Valuev. This time, he won't manage such a feat. Haye is a different animal.

Haye wins this any way he pleases IMO.

The only thing I'm going to make is tears because we'll have to keep watching Ruiz.

Ruiz is old and past his prime but the man is fearless. He has no trouble going anywhere and fighting anyone even places which are ridiculously biased in their scoring and officiating.

The ONLY people on this forum who try and talk up Ruiz as some type pf power puncher are the Glass Jaw Roy Jones fans. Ruiz has no power as evidenced by his one legit, proper KO in 10 years. The guy is awful. Haye should be able to get Ruiz out of there before the mid point of the fight.

Jesus Christ the guy has no other choice he has like 10 fans in the World. What do you expect him to do try and fight in Cowboys Stadium? The guy is no draw he has to travel to fight or he would be sitting at home on his couch.
