I have to conduct a questionnaire for a project. I have to make a boxing scoring program. I came ot this site because I know it has the msot intelligent boxing pundits. 1. What input requirements are needed to make a boxing scoring program? What information would the program need (fighter names etc)? 2. What should the program be able to do (eg show fight results)? 3. What necessary information should the program be able to provide to the user?
I don't know exactly what you looking for. Most scoring programs has the following: Name of Boxers Number of Rounds, in which you show boxes for each round, so they can put in the score after each round & total at the end. Explain the 10 point must system or the system your using. If your doing an actual program, you can include each boxers record. If you really want to do it right, you can include a write-up on all the boxers. If you do this, you should also include the place (City, State & Venue), date, promotor, you could also include the Commission. Actually most of that should be included anyway, even if it just the rounds. You could also have a spot to put in the referee and judges if you want. Again, it would depend on what your looking to do.
The program is solely to keep the scoring of a boxing fight. At the end if must show who won, and their point tallies.
Then all you have to do is put the boxers names, and a small box for each round they fight, having the round number on top, Plus the total at the end.
