I want to compete and i am training and go twice to gym, but i think little, now need of help of your, in my city there m o n k e y bars, parallel bars and many others equipaments, every friday i runner 5 miles, it took 31 minutes to do, how much arm and abdominal flexions I need do?
Do sets of pull-ups/chin-ups on those ****** bars--here is a Delta Force commando's boxing workout: 1st: 45 minutes on heavy bag, four minutes on, one minute off (when not hitting the heavy bag, jog in place or do jumping jacks, then get back on the bag). 2nd: Speed bag, 15 minutes. 3rd: 3 sets of pushups on your fists, do at least 30 per set. 4th: 3 sets of pushups on your fingertips, make your body like an X, touch your sternum to the ground. 5th: 200 crunches 6th: Speed bag, 15 minutes. 7th: 20 minutes on the heavy bag, all power punches (4 minutes on, 1 minute off). Doing this workout with a weighted vest will help you, even more. Good luck!
I wouldnt say i was experienced but had a few fights and often due to work would only get in the gym once to twice per week to spar pads etc so would train at home. Personally, and this is just my opinion, if you want to box and dont have a lot of time i dont see the point dedicating whole sessions to lifting weights etc, i feel like actual boxing should form the major part of your workout . I just did something like the following: 15 mins skip 10 x 3 min rounds of shadow boxing at a good pace Different circuits e.g. "21s". So do 21 burpees, 21 press ups, 21 squat thrusts, 21 sit ups, 21 lunges, then do al of them 18 times, then 15, 12, 9, 6, 3. Were others too but wont bore you with them But then i lost more than i won so who am i to listen too ha!!
