Time and time again people accussed Floyd of cherry picking and avoiding challenges his whole career, which is funny since he was promoted by Top Rank for most of it. But nonetheless idiots constantly going on and on about who these alleged ducks so I'm asking people now to please answer the following question:

    1) Who didn't Floyd fight that, who is superior to everyone who has fought? In other words what fighter is missing from his resume that would've enhanced it.

    2) For fights that didn't get made, please explain in detail why it was Floyd's fault that it didn't happen?

oscar de la hoya- ignored him when mayweather was in his prime and when he called them out

mosley went off to fight oscar when a fight between them was about to be made
then later on mosley claimed to have a toothache and couldnt fight him

cottos team stopped him from fighting mayweather beings as he was too green

    pacquaio refused the test
then got KTFO by marquez and had to build up his claim to fight mayweather for two years

margaritto- if mayweather faught him he wouldnt have gotten the de la hoya fight which was more significant

in all mayweather was just too good for his own good

You see the truth. Im waiting to see if some these morons can justify there accusations or if they're going to continue to ignore facts and just scream something that isn't true beacause they hate Floyd.

They can't. When you ask them to name a date and weight for the supposed guy they named, they mysteriously disappear after having spent the prior half hour in the discussion. I'm guessing what follows is 10 minutes of looking at boxrec, 5 minutes typing up a diversion response before deleting it and closing the window, and then it was outside to have a cigarette in frustration.

Obviously you cant read cause a lot of what you said is off topic and provided Zero explanations.

You didn't name a single fighters who's superior to someone that eh already fought. You can't duck Margarito for a record breaking ppv with DLH who's superior anyway. And he weighed in at 148 against Maidana.

He hopped on the scales for the first Maidana fight and the Alvarez fight. And for most of the fights in his career before then.

I don't understand that random bitter complaint. He hasn't been unofficially weighed, what, 3 times?

    Easy.....

Manny Pacquaio back in 09 by insisting on ludicrous testing & other excuses

Antonoio Margarito You only had to see the fear in Floyds eyes to know why

Paul Williams Floyd wouldn't talk about him

    Kosta Tszyu See above

Oscar In a rematch of a very close fight He retired to avoid this & Margarito

    Do you need more????

Lets be realistic here and I will absolutely acknowledge if your opinion is of great merit and respectable or not. I will agree with you if you can give basic rationalizations to feeling this way.

Please don't include fighters who publicly turned down fights with him (Cotto at 140, prime Mosley)

Please don't include fighters who never shared the same division with him (PRIME De La Hoya, Winky, Martinez 2012).

Please don't include fighters who turned down random drug testing and left the negotiating table because of it (Pacquiao 2009).

So, we are left with Margarito, Clottey, and Williams. Give me the date which these fights should certainly have happened and why they deserved the fight over the alternatives.

Pacquiao - drug testing; Team Pac walked away from the table

Margarito - give me the ideal date here and how Margarito was better than who Floyd actually fought

Kostya - Floyd called out Kostya multiple times but Floyd was signed to HBO while Kostya was Showtime exclusive

Oscar - he 116-112'd him the first time they were ever relatively close enough in weight to make the fight at all; he fought Hatton instead of a rematch

    Yup.

At no specific time did that fight ever make enough sense for anyone to want it.

Of course, people now looking back with retrospect are all about changing that narrative.

I always tell people when it comes to Margarito... Simply name me the ideal month it would have happened. Just do that, have a half way decent explanation, and I'll be happy even if I don't agree with it.
