judging by how the fight went, i think cotto's gameplan was too allow pacquiao to be in a position to throw a lot of punches, and then later in the fight, hope pacquiao slows down, and then increase the pressure, but the problem was pacquiao showed he has phenomoenal stamina, and carried on what he was doing in the first round till the last, and had too much speed to go with it. in the end clottey couldn't let his punches go, because he felt he would get caught if he did, and to be honest, he was probably right. should of took the chance in the end though.

Gatti Ward 3 beginning of the 10th and final round

different situation I know but since you were making such a big deal out of it.

I thought Clottey would do more but he decided he wanted to do the 12 and collect his cash , **** , but there you go

The hell is going on... If you really hate Pac then dont ****in watch it LoL!

You probably watched that whole fight waiting for something like that to happen so you can bash on him.. Nothing wrong with what happened, they didn't kissed or anything like that unless you seen it that way... I'm sure if it was mayweather who did that, you'd have a boner!

Just find it funny you even find a way to complain about the glove touching LoL

Nothing new with Pac, he cant stop smiling coming to the ring, he always taps gloves with his opponent every round, and he wishes nobody gets badly hurt in a fight. Pac is friendly like that.

clottey did have a good early game plan going, and what confirm that for me was when he played possum acting to be hurt almost going down in the 2nd round. I believe he tried to be negative as usual to make his opponent tire out, leave his defense, but pac had such tremendous stamina and energy that he was still swarming punches combined with movement in the last rounds.

If he was facing other guys, people would get frustated, seeing as how they can't hurt clottey with so many punches. They would leave defense and thats where clottey would make his move.

Btw clottey ain't slow, if you guys would notice whenever he throws them punches i could see some speed and skills, its just that he didn't took the risk which i think what went wrong, if he did imo we could have seen a different fight

That;s the frustrating thing about Clottey, he wasn't that slow, when he let go with shots, they were pretty quick, and took Pacquiao by surprise a few times as well. I just wonder if he kept a little more pressure on, put Pac on the defensive a bit more, Pac would not have been able to throw as many as he did, that only happened because Clottey shelled up and invited him forward.

If Clottey applied a minute of pressure in every round, he may have taken a few whilst doing so, but he would have been hurting pac no doubt. The shots that Clottey did land, they clearly hurt Manny.

It's frustrating because I think Clottey could have won this fight, maybe even forced a tko with more effort.

It's just pac has the stamina to go more than 12 rounds and not tire and he is just too relentless in his attack. Clottey will be more than competative against other welters who will not throw as many shots and who do not possess such speed. But Clottey still has a future. Needs to learn how to apply intelligent pressure, backed up with his shell defense. He is in my view still a very capable fighter in this weight class.

He's just one of the most frustrating fighters I have seen though, because you wonder if he just believed a little more, could have been on top of the pile. That would have been some achievement in a competative division such as 147.

It was more Clottey that initiated the hug and we all know he's a huge fan of Pacquiao. I also think he did it in somewhat of a "you're legitimately awesome and have been kicking my ass for the past 11 rounds...good job" type hug.

Seriously. Did you see that ring entrance? He danced like a total *** before coming in, pulled off a fake ***** street...he basically hugged him because Pacquiao got his respect.

He didn't hug Cotto because he thought he could win this one. But he did hug him towards the end of the fight and bowed out in front of the audience before the judges announced the scores.

    This.

I personally think all of those "we're gonna be the first to stop him. we're gonna make him quit." Comments came to his mind.

He didn't have one. His definition of winning was cashing that check of the gullible twits that really thought this was going to be a great fight.
