That is funny. Cotto is coming off a devastating L and he aint never fight at 154 but he gets a title shot. Bob Arum is a devious *****. The **** is ****ing obvious.

This was not fix. Clottey came to win and I outline exactly why he faught the way he did in my post from last page. Arum knew pac would win but that's where it ends. The fix was not on. Look at both of thier faces postfight and tell me there was a fix LOL. All I have heard is some flawed as logic on the matter. To see Clottey garentee a win to his homeland prefight and come in and not take any damage from pac (wow) while landing more clean blatant headsnapping punches. The guy threw about 30% of what pac threw and landed more clean shots. His gameplan did not let him throw. You guys talking about him trading with pac LOL. He would have took an ass whippin. Clottey really felt he was gonna be able to hurt pac. His gameplan of waiting for pac to took breaks was the only way to go. What did you expect. You guys trip me out with that funny ****. Clottey threw the fight hahahaha. It's funny and sad that half the people posting think this. Giving conspiracies a bad name LOL

Yori foreman is going to beat cotto and thier fight is for him. Arum is putting this together for foreman's career. Getting a big name on it before cotto retires. That is all. Just like this situation, Cotto will be coming to win and will lose to Foreman and that's what arum is banking on putting it together. Clottey will be in the same situation when he fights foreman and he will be coming to win.

Clottey most likely made the same mistake as Pacquiao's last 3 opponents. He was the bigger man, he thought Pacquiao would cave if he landed a big straight right. There may have been a chance it was the complete opposite, Clottey may have been wary of Pacquiao speed and power so went into a shell.

I couldn't see Pacquiao hurting Clottey before the bout, and I didn't see Clottey hurt at all during the bout (most likely due to the defense). So im guessing Clottey was thinking my first theory. But Clottey not once, as far as I can remember, threw his straight right with much conviction or intention to hurt Pacquiao during the 12 rounds.

I don't think Top Rank is trying to 'make' Yuri Foreman's career per se, Foreman doesn't have the charisma, fighting style, and fanbase (except for the Jewish community) to bring much attraction to himself or Top Rank.

I just think Yuri is hard to beat stylistically. He is always outside, using every inch of the ring, keeping distance with his jab. He does trade here and there but I highly doubt he will against someone like Cotto. I don't think Cotto will be able to beat Yuri unless he is able to cut the ring off and possibly stop him to the body.

Agreed definately with the second paragraph. The first is just a difference in opinion. Either way what I said is speculation and i understand your position as well. We just got to wait and see.

Maybe his plan was to hold his ass cheeks together for 12 rounds and not diarrheanate all over the place.

well Yuri fighting the bigger names (Cotto .. and if he gets by him then onto Clottey) should get him more known to the fans

but I think those 2 above paragraphs phrase it very well .. that because Foreman has a not so fan friendly style combined with a lack of charisma ruin his chance to become a Mega star.

style he is very hard to beat and his style could hold Foreman back in the long run in regards to marketability

but we'll see next fight as vs Cotto at Yankee Stadium will be a massive opportunity for Yuri to put in a quality and entertaining performance (but what are the chances he can do both)
