Realistically, no.

JMM is my favourite foreign fighter...... but Floyd possesses too many advantages - leaving weight and age aside, for the result to be in too much doubt.

JMM is essentially a counter-puncher, but against Floyd he will have to be the aggressor much more. This is fine against 'very good' fighters like Diaz and Casamayor, but the accuracy and speed of Mayweather will prove his downfall.

Judah clearly beat Mayweather in the first, second and fourth rounds. The important thing to note is that Mayweather did not give these rounds away, Judah took them. I don't know if Marquez or anybody else can do the same thing, and do it consistently for 12 rounds. Nevertheless, if anybody can beat Mayweather I have no doubt Marquez is a prime candidate.

I think Floyd will control the pace, slow it down, keep JMM at arms length and pot shot him to a comfortable UD. I don't know if JMM has the tools to pin Floyd down, or the power at the potential weight to hurt him if he did. It would be Floyd's fight to lose, IMO. The only hope I have for JMM is if Floyd looks shoddy after a long period of inactivity, but he's a pretty good physical specimen so I seriously don't that is a likely scenario.

If FLoyd has legit ring rust then yes, if Floyd has stayed sharp as possible and has been sparring then I dont think so. JMM is a great fighter, I just dont think he has the answers to beat Floyd.

Well, being that the fight is at 145, it definitely favors PBF.

One thing that strikes me though, is how will PBF react to having a fighter who is just as smart as he is. Let's face it, it is not like PBF fought the best of the best....

I think Marquez will surprise us all, will bring a very good gameplan. PBF's pot shotting will not work, although Marquez's defense is not that good, he has the tools to get the job done.
