...at Yankee Stadium, HBO is scheduled to air the Miguel Cotto vs Yuri Foreman fight. But a Closer look at that Fight-Card is AWESOME!!! Juan Manuel Lopez is schedule to be on that card. Not sure if he's fighting Gamboa. On other Boxing Sites I have seen two names as potenial opponents...Fernando Beltran Jr. (34-3) a southpaw from Mexico or Cornelius Lock (19-4) a southpaw from Detroit. And also scheduled is Humberto Soto vs Anthony Peterson. So far HBO is only contractually obligated to Air the "Main-Event".

So HBO, Please don't screw the fans over...Give us this solid three fight card:

    Miguel Cotto vs Yuri Foreman
    Juanma vs TBA
    Humberto Soto vs Anthony Peterson

After that shitty-ass and terribly dissapointing card in Dallas last weekend...YOU OWE US!!!

They've got to at least air a supporting bout. And a filler/standby.

What if Cotto KO's his opponent in round 1? Highly unlikely, but a "what if".

They need some fillers in there for the TV programming schedule.

I hope we get some asian fighter there too.

Who will comprise Team Cotto this time?

I hope they get a pro trainer now.

JuanMa is not fighting on June 5th. He's fighting Bernabe Concepcion sometime in July on Showtime, likely in Puerto Rico. Soto-Peterson is currently the televised co-feature to Foreman-Cotto.

Then that's cool, I'll take those two fights. But Boxrec has Juanma "penciled" in for June 5th in Yankee Stadium.

I honestly think Gamboa/JuanMa would be it's own main event, not an undercard match.

Juanma won't be fighting Gamboa imo, Gamboa is fighting in Germany in a few weeks time.

Any undercard would be better than the garbage offered at Pacman v Clottey.:tired

Yeah, Gamboa fights March 27th in Germany. The the plan is to have him face Caballero this summer, of course that's given they both win their interim bouts. Arum recently mentioned he wants to put together a Gamboa-Caballero, Valero-Peterson (Lamont) card.

That is true...John Duddy is also scheduled on that card. I love to see Duddy fight Danny Jacobs, Peter Quillin or Fernando Guererro...WOW!!!
