i don't think he ducked him. he just felt the money wasn't there considering the risk. and to this day, i don't believe arum would've paid mayweather 8 million to fight margo, and apparently, mayweather didn't either. that fight wasn't worth anywhere near that type of money.

man!!!!!! how can you say with a straight face that baldomir was a better challenge instead of margarito and besides he basically got the same amount of money he would've gotten fighting margarito, floyd saw in baldomir an easier fight with no risk whatsoever,to any person with common intelligece can see thru this.:patsch :patsch :patsch

So YES he ducked Margarito and now he is ducking Cotto too.....

Dont be surprise if PBF comes out with some off the wall announcement this friday to attempt to steal the spotlight from this saturday's night fight......

Why do you leave out is the most important part and it hurts your credibility? PBF fought Baldo because he was getting more money but even more important he was the linear champ at 147. Quit acting like that has nothing to do with his decision man. You sound like an irrational hater.

Okay, I will concede that in the interest of economics, and the fact that Baldomir was the linear champ, Floyds decision to fight Carlos was reasonable. But after that he should have fought Margarito. Another big payday and a unification fight. But no, Floyd decided to act like a bafoon, talk nasty and take easier fights. Thats how Floyd will be remembered.

Why in the hell would he waste time fighting Margo after Baldo when he was going to make 30mil fighting Oscar at 154?:patsch Stop bashing PBF for doing what anyone in his position would have done.:deal Let's see fight Margo for peanuts and the respect of some guys on a ESB forum or fight OScar for a lotto ticket and a better fight for legcay....hmmm.

Do not bother with Fitzgerald he loves to suck some FLoyd dick, The man argued that Floyd ALMOST knocked out Oscar in the 5th round of there fight, then posted his video to provide proof only to own up and admit that he was wrong, only to turn around an hour later and go back to the same ****ing arguement.
Fitzgerald is a ****ing joke of a poster here, he brings no substance to the forum the only thing he knows about boxing is PBF and that is it.

He could have fought Margarito prior to Oscar and made an extra 8 Million dollars considering that he is now retired, and being that Margarito is such an "easy win for Floyd" I wonder why that didnt take place?

it's clear as day that he ducked him...especially when at that time oscar was totally ignoring floyd and not even considering a fight with him....
not only that, but floyd's been known for breaking promises and having fighters kicked out if his press conference's...ahahahahaahahaahahahaahah

floyd has to be one of the luckiest fighters ever, timing wise, boxing was perfect for him....
he's also lucky many old kids like his fans love his stupid fake gangster image, prpbably the only reason he has any fans !!!

Actually, promoter Bob Arum said it best, at yesterday’s final press conference:

“I'm sick and tired of fighters trash talking their opponents, then get in the ring and act like they’re dancing with the stars.”

    :rofl
