You're looking at Margarito SO hard and being clearly intentionally stubborn that you totally forgot the beginning of all of this. Floyd beats Gatti at Jr. WW back when the haters were all over Vivian Harris' balls then seeks Cotto and Hatton, Hatton's team openly claim they need 2 fights and Cotto was considered BY FLOYD AND ARUM as a green fighter who needed more fights for GOOD CLEAR OBVIOUS reasons. So Floyd's only option is the undisputed champion at Welterweight, Zab Judah. A fighter who MANY claimed Floyd has no balls to jump up and face, Freddy Wak will remember this VERY VERY well. Point here is clear, one of the most feared and highly regarded fighters at the time was Judah and that's who Floyd seeked, it's not his problem Judah lost to his mandatory, Floyd had a first fight and a tune-up before this in Mitchell as well as he waited but stayed active. Then Judah loses and the rest is history which ends with Floyd being considered the #1 fighter at Welterweight.

THAT was Floyd's approach and OFFICIALLY not based on rumors and bull**** talks about how the sanctioning bodies think or "plan" down under. This is EXACTLY what happened, what was Margarito's approach?

The polls explain something clear and obvious already, any fighter who is considered #1 automatically has more haters than fans. Want me to remind you of the RJJ era especially on ESB?

Dead men?, yeah sure they were dead and were considered nothing when Floyd went to them? :patsch
Yet Margarito is credible enough for Floyd to "duck", that explains it right there.

Scar if you think Judah was one of the most feared fighters at Welter weight at that time I am going to laugh in your ****ing face, Judah was a mental case lost to KT, Lost to Spinks I mean damn already Judah was a Don King Product nothing more, he has not got one single win at welter weight over a A level fighter and that is a fact, so what the **** makes him so fearfull.?

No need to I agree with your arguement there, However Jones has earned more respect in moving up to HW taking a huge risk at getting hurt, winning the HW Title, and moving back down to fight two young dangerous hungry fighters.
That is the differnce between Jones and Mayweather, Jones took those risk Floyd failed that task hands down.

Floyds run at 140 is more so known for people not wanting to fight him if anything.

Hatton wanted no part, nor Cotto. And the Zoo fight was impossible.

I don't give a **** what you think and YES I and MANY others considered him one of the dangerous FIGHTERS at the time. Many people will remember this if they choose to, the reason you deny that now is CLEAR and easy, Judah lost to Baldomir, if he didn't then your opinion would be clearly different. You weren't here back when Judah was the undisputed champion so your thoughts won't be believed here no matter how you deny it. Fact is, with your opinion pushed aside and straight into the trash bin, Judah WAS the man to fight back then so Mayweather moved up for him. Deny it all you want those are facts the boxing public, that judges not based on hate or bull**** theories, will admit to. It's easy to consider him an easy target now that he already lost to Baldomir, Mayweather and Cotto.

Margarito loses to Daniel Santos, beats a sebastian Lujan for a welterweight belt, Knocks out an untested puncher known as Cintron, and then fights a nobody named Manuel Gomez and this makes him deserve a fight with Mayweather? What makes him so deserving of a fight with the believed to be number one welterweight at the moment?

Moving to LMW to fight DLH with all the advantages on Oscar's side mean absolute nothing?, the fight itself proved that it WASN'T an easy task considering how close it is and yes I scored that fight for DLH.

    Let me add more.

Loses to Paul Williams, beats Cintron again and restores the "Hagler of today" status.

ruiz isn't a "overacheiver". he's a no-talent brawler who should be fighting in UFC, not boxing. the fact that two blown up middleweights beat his ass should tell you he's the weakest heavyweight "champion" we've had in years. ruiz got to where he was because of don king, not because he was a "overacheiver".

**** credentials, this is about the best fighting the best, and Tony is and was considered one of the best welters out there, everybody who has faced him has not had an easy time with him win or lose, this is a guy with a work rate, chin, conditioning and power to give Floyd hell all night long.
Bottom line, Floyd ducked the man, bottom line, you cant lie your way around that fact, bottom line Margarito and Cotto haters are hating that these two so called nobody, are in the spot light this weekend in a fight that is ****ing Huge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for two nobodys, they have sure brought more attention to this fight Than Mayweather did when he fought Baldimor, so to sum it up, okay you think Margarito isnt a draw, Cool, we know Baldimor isnt a draw neither, so come this weekend we will see how these numbers did since Tony is a nobody and miguel is a somebody, vs the numbers that PBF Baldo did:deal
