He ducked him . . . only Fraud groupies try to deny the truth thats right in their face.

They cannot admit that a technically limited guy like Margarito showed how much of a ducker Fraud really is.

Like it or not, Gentlemen, Zab Judah was THE welterweight, and Tony Margarito, wasn't.

Zab Judah was touted as a potential heir to the pound for pound throne. EVERY sportswriting outlet was calling the Spinks knockout one of the years best wins. Ring Magazine did a "welterweight" scorecard after Zab trounced Cosme Rivera (The same one who gave Berto hell), and gave Zab an A, with Tony getting a B, and not alot of writer attention. What followed was an article praising Zab for winning the undisputed title, and salivating at a Mayweather match.

Fact is boys, and I spent some time at the Mayweather camp till about, 2006, he wanted the welterweight championship as a lightweight. Leonard Ellerbe listed Ricardo Mayorga as a top option. I don't think Floyd was a take all comers champion, but he wasn't a ***** like he's being painted. My opinion of Margarito's balls is actually quite low, until now. Margo would never take a top challenge. He'd call out, and while people rarely said, sure, why not, Margo was notorious for backing out when he got called back. He has some of the worst opposition at welterweight, even right now, with Cintron being his only credible win that legacy wise, truly means anything.

A guy like this, was not in Floyds crosshairs. Mayorga, followed by Spinks, followed by Judah, followed by Baldomir, was in Mayweathers crosshairs. After the Gatti fight, Mayweather signed a contract to fight Judah. People forget the fact that the fight was made before Mitchell got pasted and Judah got beaten. And after Judah, Mayweather changed gears and took the welterweight title from Baldomir. His objective, was the welterweight championship, and after he won it, Oscar entered the picture, and no fighter on Gods green Earth says no too Oscar. Wasnt a duck boys, it didn't match up. Floyd fought the fights he fought for that linear welterweight championship. Margaritos WBO belt meant nothing, and he lost it when he stepped up his competition past untested prospects with no credible wins and veterans. He KO's a veteran and that same prospect turned champion, and only now signs to fight Cotto. I admire Margo for turning what had been a mediocre top fighters career into potentially a great one. But Mayweather and him, regardless of whether keyboard warriors in a forum care to acknowledge it, were never even close to matching up. Floyd's head was elsewhere, and Margo turned down Floyds offer to him before the Gomez fight. I don't think either fighter ducked the other, just, Mayweather had himself an objective, and wen't out and got it. Margarito had himself an objective, longevity, and also got it until he ran into Paul Williams.

Last I checked, Floyd has his "0". Last I checked, Margo lost two fights ago.

    Cotto TKO 10.

JLC beat him the first time. Gayfeather ONLY took the bout once Chico announced he was moving up in weight because of the difficulty to make 130. Chico then decided not to move up, and take one last fight at 130. Oscar who? Oh, you mean the businessman who has done NOTHING in boxing for the last couple of years? Yes, I can see your argument. Hatton? The one who lost to Collazo? G. Hernandez? Decent win, but is G. Hernandez a HOF'er in your book? Zab Judah? The one that got spanked by Tyszu and then by a featherfisted journeyman? Hahahahahaha!!!! Keep up the good work, kid. You are almost ready for a solo routine on Saturday Night Live.
