Floyd would fight anyone of the money is right ... I'm sure if there was something that Margarito had to offer - like an undefeated record then i'm sure that PBF wouldve fought him.

But for 8m and the fact that he doesn't have a big name and that his WBO strap didn't hold much weight ... why fight this guy ...

So everyone can turn around and say that he beat yet another bum ...

He made more money fighting Baldomir and got the linear title in the process.

Keep telling yourself that Kid, baldimor did not have a undefeated record and the money to fight Tony was right, Floyd heart just wasnt there he did not want to have to deal with fighting a real fighter.

people can say what they want, but facts are facts and floyd ducked margo.....i'm sure floyd would've beat him, but that doesn't change ****...floyds fans go into defense mode really quick and start defending floyd with "he would've ko'd the bum" or "he would've boxed circles around him", WELL THOSE AINT FACTS, they're opinions and i myself think he would've decisioned margo, but like i said , THAT DONT CHANGE THE FACT THAT HE DUCKED HIM !!!

Thats where you and I disagree, Floyd would more than likely get man handled after breaking his hand early in the fight.

    i can see that,
but i would still pick floyd by decision....not saying margo dont got a chance, cause he sure as hell would make him work for his money...

I agree with you 100%, he would've beaten margarito, but floyd handlers and fighting knowledge saw something in margarito that made him stay away from him,had floyd known for sure he was able to beat margo that fight already been done.

The reason Floyd has stayed clear of Margarito is obvious even if he had won, he would have took some punishment in the fight, and that kind of punishment can shorten your career.

If he was so lucky I guess that means JLC, Chico, Oscar, Hatton, G.Hernandez, Zab were all trash huh? Since they all let a lucky guy beat them. You guys are so pathetic really, constantly hating on a man regarded as the best in the sport for 3 years.:-(

I feel that had it been Margarito that beat Judah Mayweather would have fought him instead of Baldimor. However Tony did very well marketing himself as "the man that Floyd didn't want to fight".

I guess Baldo wasn't real huh? Despite winning the linear champ at 147 something your boy Margo has never done. Neither was Oscar he wasn't real either but you picked him to KO PBF? Just stop it man you have no credibility and have been proven wrong by PBF so many times it's not even funny.

You guys are really discrediting all the boxers PBF beat by always saying he's trash every chance you get. Just get over it already he's retired and an ATG let the man retire in peace.

Hatton was garbage, Hernandez semi retired Chico on his way to prison Oscar past his better days, Zab, Why do you keep bringing up Zab Judah I mean seriously what has he accomplished? besides being the guy that got starched by Tszyzu? I mean seriously Zab has not beat a top welter himself neither so how does this make for a good win on Floyds resume?

He did duck Margarito. Pbf was offered 8 million to fight Margarito. Thats just plain ***** on Floyds part. Floyd also ducked Cotto, Berto, and Clottey.

Mayweather and team offered Margo after Judah had lost to Baldomir.

Margo was set up to fight in a **** PPV. Arum would of lost money on the deal but by having Margo decline Mayweather and producing a less than 25k PPV he really just broke even. He's a promoter, he has millions upon millions. I dont think canceling / re headling a small fight like that with another of his fighters is going to break him, but they still declined Mayweather.

Mayweather was then offered a fight with Margo after the Judah fight when Mayweather was injured.
