I truely believe its Floyd Sr who's totally against this fight, and is afraid for his son to face Pac and Jr is listening to him. Stephen Edwards from btalk elaborated on this in his mailbag.

He stated that he he heard Floyd Sr say "I dont want my son to fight that man". Floyd Sr has also went on the record several times to say that he doesnt like his son facing southpaws. Who's the most dangrous southpaw pfp right now? :think

These guys feel that Mayweather was unreasonable because he asked for testing that he would also do and therefore reason FMJ didn't want to fight. They feel that Pac was reasonable for asking for a $10 million per pound weight penalty and wanted to fight.

I'm not necessarily saying your wrong, there should probably be more testing for PED, but what is wrong is who is Floyd to make these demands. The boxing commissions of each state are responsible for setting and enforcing various rules, not a specific boxer. This applies to Floyd, Manny or anyone else. Now if Floyd really cares about drug use, fine he can quite boxing and sit on one of the commissions and press for change..but as a boxer he shouldn't be dictating these type of terms any more than he should be dictating the number of rounds they're going to fight.

But one thing for sure, if the fight never happens, the vast majority of people, an overwhelming percentage are going to blame Floyd. That much is certain.

 

I'm willing to wager that Floyd will insist on the fight being at 154 with clauses to ensure that Pacquiao comes in at 154, knowing full well Pacquiao is going to struggle with that weight, as he has admitted.

 

I'd guarantee you if the roles were reversed with Mayweather refusing to take Manny's drug test and Manny not budging then 98% people would still back the same man

Mayweather is the PVP Attraction and the WW Champ, Pacquaio should do everything he can to make the fight

Pacquaio is not trying to make this fight

And once Manny agrees to the test Crackhead Snr et al will come up with another hairbrained condition for Manny to submit to for the fight to happen.

Then all the *****'s will be saying it's Manny's fault the fight's not happening.

Floyd gets 100% of the money, Manny has to pay Floyd = the total amount of money and Manny has to wear a straight jacket for the fight.
