Haye rid us of one huggy mauling actor of a fighter tonight and I think all will agree that should Hopkins not retire immediately after this contest, it would represent good news for boxing to see him KOed as the ultimate incentive for him to stop stinking out boxing rings across the world with his unique interpretation of "boxing".
No more softies for Haye - god knows he's had his fare share. Adamek/Arreola or Klitschkos are the real fighters in the prime of their careers waiting to kick his ass. So let's make these fights happen. At this point of his career Hopkins is just a meaningless distraction and will have a negative influence on the HW division. Hops doesnt even sell well. Look at this fight, some meaningless ppv with bob sherman milking the fighters names and lying through his teeth about the embarassment happening in the ring.. Hops needs to retire ASAP!
