He needs three or four more wins.

Defintely he has to beat at least two of these guys: Haye, Povetkin, Valuev. He will fight Povetkin in 2009. Then he only needs to fight one of the other two.

They aren't holding the division hostage, they are reigning together, something that's never been done. Sit back & enjoy. I don't remember you being so angry when Don KIng was holding the division hostage and he isn't even a fighter himself..............just another greedy promoter.

Wladimir needs to fight Valuev or Holyfield for the WBA title next.

I think Valuev (or Holyfield) will have to fight Chagaev next.

Wlad will probably fight next in May, against Haye or Povetkin. Then, if he fought Haye, will fight Povetkin in September.

Yeah great line up there! ARE YOU ****IN KIDDING ME????????

He's beat what's around but compare that to any other dominant heavyweight champion who has came before him and get back to me.

Ruiz's resume is probably more impressive than that , yet he's still categorized as a bum!!!!

Wlad's a victim (or perhaps beneficiary) of circumstance - other than his brother (who is a far superior fighter) there are no A class fighters out there.

Vitali's resume isn't much better - but he has shown he was competitive against an ATG fighter in Lennox Lewis, something which Wlad cannot demonstrate.

His 3 defeats were all horrible scars on his record and will mean he won't be remembered as an ATG, merely a decent custodian in a fallow period for heavyweight boxing.

    :good

It's funny how some coach potatoes think they can call a top athlete like Wlad a bum. They have no credibility.

Who did Tyson fight in his prime? A bunch of washed up fighters.

Same with Ali except for a few bouts. 90% of the people he fought were bums that nobody knows of now. Only two were champs.

Looks like under the criteria in this thread, Tyson and Ali are frauds too.

A few reasons. Wlad's white, educated, not from the ghetto, not your stereotypical trash talking champion, etc. Every reason to hate the guy.
