Cherry picked fighters coming off their worst performances ever and drained them into oblivion. Manny is great for this era but not all time
you dumb piece of **** tranny, you were on floyds nuts a month ago, did jinkiee give you permission to suck manny's ****? what made you change your mind
he is a natural 140 lber fighting bigger guys north of his weight and you call it cherrypicking. lol. if you're not a fan at least check the facts. he came from the lower weights and brought good competition to the welter weight and light middle weight when he shouldn't have to. he just challenged himself and always thought of entertaining the fans.
He's clearly an all time great and not far behind Floyd. If we only include major sanctioning bodies and discount the 150lb 'belt' then he is, at worst, a 6-weight world champion. Any fighter in history can be picked apart resume-wise but you have to give credit where it's due. A month ago, there was a very good argument that he would be above Mayweather.
Although he has entertained me quite a bit over the years Pacquiao is far from my favourite boxer. Nonetheless when I think of the best fighters I've seen in my own lifetime Pacquiao is up there. For me I'd say Duran was the best, followed by Chavez with Pacquiao slightly behind. There are a lot of other great fighters who fit in around the level of these guys, for sure, but I think Pacquiao is up there. From around 2003 until around 2010 Pacquiao was a real force of nature and would doubtless hold his own with the best at those weights in any era. You can keep your Mayweathers, Jones' and Klitshkos; great boxers, sure, but guys like Duran, Chavez and Pacquiao always get extra kudos from me because of the way they fight. By the time he retires, with his acomplishments, resume and the fights he gave us Pacquiao will definitely be remembered among the greats. How great, however, is still up for debate.
even without the belts, you cannot say he did not show good competition from fly weight to light middle weight. margarito cannot go down to welter so he is a legit light middle and pac is a natural light welter. when did pac fought that he just scored points to win? nada. he always entertains and always make knock downs and knock outs even though he is not as skilled compared to his opponents like marquez, barrera, morales, mayweather, cotto, ledwaba, and sasakul.
