The WW division is weaker than it has ever been. Andre Berto and Joshua Clottey are near the top of the division, that's all you need to know.
lol everything an opponent does against Mayweather is amplified, it's testament to his consistency and skills. For example Judah posed a problem to Floyd for a maybe a quarter of the fight but many people when talking about the fight say that Judah gave him a really tough fight when in truth it was a clear decision for Mayweather. He takes 2 solid blows from Mosley, doesn't touch the canvas and even begins to shift the momentum of the fight within the same round and people say he almost got knocked out.
Shane's punches lost their sting after the 4th round. His age took a toll on him. No way would I give credit to Floyd. He fought an old man who is there only for the money.
I was truly hoping that Mayweather would get his clock cleaned last night but after that performance, I am simply in awe. The guy is the most technically sound fighter that I have ever seen. He showed aggression throughout the fight and made Mosley look almost amateurish at times. His interview with Larry Merchant was classy and controlled although I think that Larry Merchant was being a bit of a douche bag. Mosley was not old or shot but rather taken to school by a guy who is going to retire among the the top five greatest fighters ever.
You're in denial that Shane is no longer in his prime. Accept it, my friend, then I will agree that you know your boxing.
Yeah, this **** is ridiculous. If "Grandpa Shane" is so shot and over-the-hill, then the Welterweight division is an absolute toilet, and no one should get any credit for winning fights there.
I bet you wasnt saying Mosley was shot and over the hill after the Margo fight! Back to the main thread, yes he was hurt, but he weathered the storm very well! end of
every person that was watching that maywetaher fan or not were off the edge of there seat and thought he was about to get knocked the f*** out, especially the second one were he went half way down but was holding onto shane, but he never ran after that he stood there wanting to trade so from the looks of it, it looked like he was staggered but not wobbled as much as we thought he was which was evident when he stood still toe to toe with mosley
floyd took shane best punch flush on the face. This was a mosley punch that had his full power and was early in fight. When pac clocked Hatton flush with a punch in round 2 everyone went crazy and said what a punch. If floyd would have got knocked out everyone would be saying the same thing and hyping a mosley v pac fight. Mayweather proves he has a good chin and with his boxing skills that's all he needs.
Floyd showed a hell of a chin. Good thing for him Shane got tired and looked 38 cuz there was nothing Floyd was doing that Shane couldn't get his punches thru. Father Time beat Mosley. Great win for Floyd he's back at #1 now, but damn he really knows when to take them matches.
