He chicken danced pretty well there. Zab would have been proud. He was clearly hurt. You never know. One more flush right hand might have stopped him. Floyd's a great fighter and recovered pretty quickly but that was the 2nd time he was hurt in that round.
listen man, when a fighter with a good chin gets hit flush, they dont do the 'chicken' dance. floyd may very well have a china chin. I think the amazing part of his legacy is the fact he has that flaw, but makes up for it with his defense and finesse. Its alright to admit this weakness with floyd. It doesnt mean he still cannot dominate. Hell, look at wladmair.
i dont believe a prime mosley would have made any difference whatsover. He was always a sucker for straight right hands. Remember his first welterweight fight? I still do...........
The forum was down for a while and I couldn't post. Yes, he would have been KO'ed. Mosly ****ed up and let him go thinking he will catch him again later. Props to PBF for fighting through it. If he had run or held, then Mosly would have jumped on him like a cougar on a baby dear. His legs were out and he used his head to go forth due to knowing Mosley's intelligence of jumping on him if he ran or held for life. There was enough time to put him to sleep. Props afterward for his masterful boxing. Come on, even his corner was panicking and telling him to box. Ellerb looked like he took a ****. I have been watching and been around boxing to know that he was out if Mosley would have capitalized on the shots. He blew it and now Pac or whoever else is next. Mind you, I am reading your thread and post without reading everyone elses. I was wrong in picking Mosley as the winner, but I did mention what could have happened and it almost did. Almost don't count though. Yea sure, Corley and Judah hit him harder.
floyd did almost get knocked out off a single right hand!! Tony did eventually get tko'd after about 100 right hands
No, but you can see him green in envy at the video esb posted on PBF vs Mosley post comments. He is smiling and trying to have small talk to whoever walks by as PBF is talking while at the podium. At one time, Oscar is looking at his fingernails. I would not be surprised if Oscar came out of retirement. He missis the excitement and the all the attention of a major fighter. Check it out again.
