If you like those type of fights then I really think you might appreciate Zab Judah vs Spinks 2. Its got a bit of everything but is more on the technical side, and if you appreciate technical type fights with some defence and all that, id check that one out. Wont get listed on these type of threads compared to the great fights that everyone will all say, but its worth a check out. Plus, while past classics are great, its always nice to view fights of fighters that are still relivent and Zab has made his 140 comeback so its a nice dust up on what Zab is all about.

Yep, 'Riot in Garden' is a real classic even though the actual fight was low point of both fighters.

One of my favorite older fights I've watched is Benvenuti-Griffith I, even though it's frequently on the more technical end of things (was still good enough to be fight of the year though).

A must-see older fight is Danny Lopez vs. Mike Ayala. That one's a war.

Best fight of the last decade, IMO, is Corrales-Castillo I, which somehow hasn't been mentioned yet. Morales-Barrera I, Ward-Gatti I and Vazquez-Marquez II and III are all five star fights from the past decade as well.

I think all of them are up on Youtube. I know Lopez-Ayala is. Also, ESPN Classic shows Benvenuti-Griffith pretty frequently.

3 of my favorites. The last a domestic classic.

    Naz v Kelly
    Calzaghe vs Mitchell
    Jamie Moore vs Mathew Macklin

and as others have said Benn v Gerald, and Benn v Barkley to see what he is all about.
    Also check out Eubank.

For a slick boxer imo you cant beat Roy jones.

Golota vs. Bowe II was a horrific, brutal war. IMO there was no better heavy fight ever since.

I would not repeat those who proposed before, all of them very good picks, some more ideas:

I also propose Lewis vs. Briggs, Lewis vs. Tyson and Lewis vs. Klitschko in the heavys. Also Lewis vs. Bruno.

    More proposed fights:

Fernando Vargas fights against Quartey, Trinidad, Oscar.
    Oscar. vs. Quartey.
Oscar vs. Mosley I is a must watch as well.
Winky Wrights vs. Mosley second fight was fine.
    Winky Wright vs. Jermain Taylor

Trinidad vs. Joppy, Trinidad vs. Mayorga or Trinidad vs. Thiam - gives a proper pic about Tito's power.

    Any Naseem Hamed fight.

Roy Jones' fights from 1997 till 2003, especially: Jones vs. Telesco, Jones vs. Hall, Jones vs. Hill, Jones vs. Ruiz, Jones vs. Kelly.

From Europe: Michalcewski vs. Richard Hall II. Calzaghe vs. Kessler. Abraham vs. Miranda I.

Not the greatest fighter or fight but sums up Danny Williams when the real one turned up.

Or, try this little gem.........Matthew Saad Muhammad vs. Yaqui Lopez in 1980. One of the great fights ever. Here's a sampling of it. If you're an impatient sort, just skip to the eighth round for one of the great rounds in history.
