You must be blind. Almost all those punches were completely or partially deflected by Floyd's shoulders and arms. And the way Ortiz was throwing them they hardly had any leverage on them. Punches that hurt the most are the kind that are set up well. None of those punches were set up well. He just threw them in hopes of landing.
lol. He was rusty as hell. Got tagged plenty. No power and horrific at blocking looping punches. Pac would eat this Floyd for lunch. gobble gobble.
You know, a person gets hit with 5 or 6 flush, good punches by Ortiz, they usually have a bruise or at least start SOME swelling. The proof of Ortiz's effectiveness is written all over Floyd's face: This content is protected
Body shot w/ 1:27 left didnt land I guess ? And the others with Floyd grinning and rocked back to the ropes missed also. Oh well.
He's only speaking the truth. That fight was heating up and looking like it was going to turn into a real scrap.
Regardless of what Ortiz did in this, the bottom line is that Mayweather was never hurt or lacking control of the fight. When Mayweather is in defensive mode and moves, his critics complain. When he comes forward, stands in the pocket a little bit more, and takes a few more shots than usual, again, his critics complain. If Ortiz was getting to him, then there was no reason for him to illegally headbutt Mayweather. The fact Ortiz attempted two headbutts in the round lets you know the amount of frustration he was experiencing. He simply wasnt connecting enough on Mayweather to take control of the fight.
