You bring up an interseting point regarding weight but I think that the extra weight would have hurt Ortiz more than helped. He rehydrated 17lbs in 24 hours. I am certain that at least 10 of those lbs were water weight not muscle. If you go back to the 3rd round you could see Victor retreating at moments, which tells me along with trying to avoid Floyds right hand the weight was slowing him down slightly. Remmeber he was fighting at 140 within 12 months of this fight, thats a huge jump in weight in a short period of time to fight with.
