Wondering if Hayes on a fixed purse for this one. Hes usually all out on promoting his fights...but been pretty subdued this time round. Just got me wondering if hes getting a cut of the ppv or its a fixed fee. That fight would probably have sold well again if they,d have ramped up the rivalry. Haye looks like hes not that fussed for selling it this time around.

Coz people pay to watch him because 9/10 times he delivers a ko...plus the women fap off over him...and so do the blokes.

Not been hearing any casual's talk about this fight but they were all over the first fight. It's gonna do poor numbers relatively speaking, especially compared to the first fight which was huge. It's easy to get a gage for these things.

Everything today was planned to try and raise the hype. The push and that inbetweeners fella - it goes without saying.

No chance Haye would except a flat fee unless it’s for a huge amount. He’s also co-promoter for the event.

Pricing out the casuals? What is that implying? That all casual boxing fans have no money? In my experience a lot of casual sports fans pay decent amounts of money to go anywhere and watch anything as long as they can get pissed and sniff beak all night

I don't think the delay helped. The fight getting postponed took the wind from its sails plus maybe people lost faith in the fight happening. Wasn't the first fight Haye pulled out of through injury.

That doesn't make sense. The ppv buys first and foremost are about breaking even. The number to break even won't be a problem.

Plus the fact that something like 95% of ppv purchases are made on the day of the fight.

Not exactly a disaster then. Did think it would be a full house though.

Ah that puts paid to my last post then. Just surprised Haye,s not really ramped up the rivalry this time round.
