    Purse split isn't about all-time status. By your own logic, are you suggesting that Pacquiao, who received a 32-68 split with De La Hoya, is much worse off all-time ranking wise than De La Hoya?

    wasn't the original deal 60-40 to manny and then hatton gets the Uk PPV money??
    Then when pacman realised how much that actually was, he wanted to re-negotiate, to which hatton said OK, we put everything in the pot at 50/50!?
    Initially that 50/50 was agreed, and then pac-man went back on his word(again) wanting 60/40 of everything.
    This was then negotiated to 52/48 for pacman, but that still wasn't enough for him!

    Now you tell me why manny pacquaio should get 60% of the UK PPV money as well as everything else?
    Considering too, that Manny got to choose the venue and the date aswell. I know Manny is p4p no.1, but he is fighting at light welter against the champion presumably for his belt.

    Also if he agrees the last negotiated deal, he will make his biggest payday ever.

    The oly explanations for him not agreeing is;

    A) He knows he can't win against Hatton. Different prospect to a shot/weight drained oscar de la hoya
    B) He is the greediest son of a b**ch in the world.

    There is no other logical explanation

    Thanks. but hatton is nowhere near dela hoya. ODLH is the face of boxing when they fought. Now Pac is the man. Ooops wait hatton's the face of boxing but only in the UK.:deal

    BTW you haters are missing the point of this thread.
    PAC vs Hatton is off. But your only blaming PAC. Look at the ratings maybe the answer will reveal itself to you. if not only psychiatrist can help.

    On topic i had PAC in the top 50. Hatton top 200.:hi:

    Boxing can now be called Hollywood where the better boxer will just be given the accolades and the belt while the the top drawer will be rewarded with the higher pay. Only in boxing folks! :good
