Hi everyone Just wonderin about plyo pushups, i manage to clap while pushin myself up from the floor in a pushup position but at what speed do u need to keep up to class it as a plyo workout as its explosive workout? is the clapping motion quick enough to create the plyo excercise correctly? Thanks for your help
You can train your explosive endurance, or you train your maximum explosion, either way clap pushups are always essentially going to be explosive, just like cleans on a barbell, jump like jumps will always be explosive etc. And yes.
Whats cleans on a barbell......... Do u reckon its best to try to increase height on a clap pushups.... or is it good to raise your back legs then do clapping pushups but as this is harder do 1-5 reps but do more sets like 5 for an example, as ur legs are raised the explosive motion would be harder therefore creating a greater physique and power in ur chest etc is that right? cheers
