Judah...Dirrell...Cintron...A-Force Harrison...those are the names I think of, Shommel. Tougher than any wimpy old timey bareknuckler, I'll tell you that much.
I guess LaMotta will get the most shouts here, but Gene Fullmer qualifies as well. There are so many others to mention too when you think about it. Boxing is so full of tough guys.
Very few people have heard about him, but Charley Sieger was one of the toughest boxers of early 20th century.
