"Poison" Junior Jones was a very good fighter He had terrific wins over Marco Antonio Barrera who BTW always has had trouble with southpaws i.e., Junior Jones, Manny Pac.

I don't even wanna imagine what a prime Jones could have done to Pacman at 122. Straight murda is what would have happened with a laser guided right hand straight down the pipe.

Jones wasn't a southpaw, the punch which troubled Barrera particularly in their two fights was his big right hand.

Absolutely. The Jones loss, notably the first one, was perhaps the best thing to ever happen in Barrera's career before he moved up to 126lb and dominated.

Don't want to hear it. I'm talking about Barrera, not Pacquiao. Boxing didn't begin with Pacquiao, and it won't end with Pacquiao. :good

mckinney fight was a classic on the naz-kelley undercard. :bbb

he was excellent in both barrera fights.

his performance in the rematch is under rated.

shame his career fell away so badly after the mckinney fight. :-(

Have you ever even seen Pacquiao at 122? I'd also favor Jones to out-point him. He was still too un-skilled and limited, despite his speed and power. He could catch Jones by surprise, but more often than not I figure he'd be getting outboxed and tagged up by that piston-like jab.
