Add Teddy Yarosz to the list of great Polish middleweights:good

Hard to pick here. Ketchel is just so crude, but Zale isn't the type to just peacefully outbox a crude fighter. His instinct is to MIX, which could be fatal against someone with Ketchel's power. But how aggressively would Ketch wing against Tony after a few of those rib-*******s slammed against his wide open midsection??

So many factors to consider. I may have to be a punk and take a pass on this one.....

    This is a dream fight.
I like Ketchel and this is why...Zale liked to explode into his shots going forward. Ketchel operates by putting the opponent on the backfoot. Zale would gauge distance with his left hand then shoot hard right hands to the body, then left hooks upstairs. Ketchel is more than capable of upsetting this pattern. In the film of Ketchel against Papke, Ketchel is more aware of spacing than given credit for, uses a hard left jab to the body keeping his head out of range...selectively retreats when an opponent is attacking, and never once allows his back to be on the ropes in that fight. This tells me that the madman is a thinking fighter who fights to his strengths. Earlier films of Zale reveal a fighter who is capable of being on his toes more, but that would play more into the fight going into Ketchel's kind of fight if Zale voluntarily keeps his distance, because he does have to set before being able to dig those shots in.
I like Ketchel by knockout (9th round)

Zale. More polished fighter and just as tough.
