Ward hasn't fought the variety of styles yet to be sure of how he would have done against someone like Eubank.

I would probably favor Eubank by decision although Ward has made me look foolish consistently. Though this fight could be reaaaally boring if their styles mix.

Who voted for a Ward KO?????? Be realistic. Ward has a good chance of outworking Eubank to a decision but I am leaning towards a close UD for Eubank.

    Eubank wide UD

Ward is probably the most overated fighter in the world right now, talk about jumping on the bandwagon.

Eubank would be a lot bigger as he was big at the weight.

Ward still has a huge amount to prove. One good performance doesn't cement your greatness!!!

Eubank in his prime very technical, fluid, good showman, and confident fighter. From what I've seen so far from Ward I'd have to give a slight edge to Ward in speed. Powerwise, none of these 2 were ko artists. Maybe a slight edge to Ward with his combination punching and speed, but Eubanks had great footwork and would win some rounds too. Maybe a draw or Ward by split decision.

Its probably a bit too early to really have a clear opinion, Ward may turn out to be the best thing ever, though im not yet convinced of this at the moment. He has one real good win against Kessler, but often when an established world champ beats clearly a good/reasonable fighter, the good/reasonable fighter then gets thrown in with a top prospect, who with the blueprint then beats the good/reasonable, and everyone jumps on the bandwagon that hes amazing, Im not yet sure if this is the case with Ward. Wards win over Miranda didnt really have (for me) quite the same kind of sparkle as Pavliks or Abrahams rematch victory over him.
Eubank was a proven world class fighter with 14 WBO SMW title defences and fought fighters at a good level.
At this stage id say Eubank possibly by middle to late KO. Eubanks chin was sound and Ward has been hurt when caught cleanly, something which I think would be in a prime Eubanks capability

i'm pretty sure Eubank would catch him late on and win by way of TKO.
