Okay, I'll type it REEEAAALLLY SLOOOOW FOR YOU: You think Ward backers are basing their opinions on one fight. Maybe they are basing their opinions on the fact that they have personally seen Ward in the gym rotating beatdowns on guys through 12 rounds, who are a hell of a lot more skilled, and apparently tougher, than Mikkel Kessler. How can you know though? You're in East London. Was that in English?

 

The only thing that surprised me about the Ward-Kessler fight was that Ward didn't knock the overrated favorite out. But I guess Tommy V would have called me a "silly ****" if he was around to see me telling everybody that before the fight.

Dont think you can put Ward in these fantasy fights just yet hes fought 1 world class fighter he looked good but is still too much of a unknown quantity.

Acctually Eubank is a higher level fighter then the ram.

Ward was good against kessler, but i dont think kessler put in a good performance, since calzaghe he hadnt fought a live body, had a lot of problems with his promoter and was inactive, he looked flat on the night

I wouldnt totally write kessler off just yet and i wouldnt say ward is world class just yet either. Kessler may even get beaten by froch unless he pulls his finger out.

How the hell did ward get 3 home fights to start this tournament?? That is just rediculous and imo gives him a very unfair advantage, he must have licked some serious arse to get that, but then again he is from the bay area so it probably just came naturally

 

So, are we basing this fight on how good Ward might be in a few years?

I always thought these threads would be current fighter vs prime, so current Ward versus prime Eubank, Eubank wins by KO. In my opinion, of course.
